Easter is now upon us. We have had a very busy month in March and I know you will all be looking forward to a break, ready to return to school feeling refreshed on Monday 16th April to start the Summer Term.
We are delighted to have been chosen to open a new school at Wintringham Park, and we look forward to working with Cambridgeshire County Council to provide much needed primary school places in St Neots and the new Eastern Expansion. The new school will complement our existing Round House Primary Academy at the nearby Love’s Farm, where we strive to ensure that every child achieves the highest possible standards through a relentless focus on high quality teaching and learning.
World Book Day was a fantastic day with a spectacular array of costumes – thank you for your inspirational ideas. I can assure you the staff enjoyed it as much as the children did! The Book Fairs were extremely well supported; a proportion of the money you spend goes directly to the schools to purchase books for your children, and we are most grateful for your support.
This week the children throughout the Trust have enjoyed a fun-packed Reward Day to thank them for their hard work and excellent behaviour over the term. One of the most enjoyable aspects of my role is going into the schools and meeting your children. Every child I meet has exceptional manners and behaviour.
I would like to wish everyone a very Happy Easter and a restful break.
