Diamond Learning Partnership Trust welcomes new Trust Director for Inclusion

The Diamond Learning Partnership Trust is pleased to announce the appointment of Jude Macdonald as Trust Lead for Inclusion, strengthening the Trust’s commitment to ensuring every child receives the support they need to succeed.

Jude joins the Trust with a strong track record in inclusive education and special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). She has previously served as Headteacher of a special school and has held a senior Trust-wide role leading inclusion, where she was responsible for securing positive outcomes for pupils with SEND, supporting statutory processes and developing staff expertise across schools.

Throughout her career, Jude has focused on ensuring that children with the most complex needs can thrive in mainstream settings when supported by the right systems, training and leadership. Her work has included developing high-quality provision, strengthening staff capability and promoting inclusive practices that enable more pupils to remain and succeed within their local school.

At the Diamond Learning Partnership Trust, inclusion is central to the Trust’s ethos of ensuring that no child is left behind. Jude’s role will focus on working alongside school leaders and staff to further strengthen inclusive practice, enhance provision for pupils with additional needs and support the continuous development of a culture where every child feels valued and supported.

Welcoming the appointment, Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Lewis said:
“We are delighted to welcome Jude to our Trust. She brings a deep commitment to inclusive education and a proven ability to translate strategy into meaningful impact for pupils. Her experience will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our provision and ensure that every child, whatever their starting point, can achieve and thrive.”

Jude Macdonald said:
“I am incredibly pleased to be joining the Diamond Learning Partnership Trust. I am passionate about ensuring that every child, regardless of need or background, has access to high-quality education in a setting where they feel they belong. I look forward to working with colleagues across the Trust to build on the strong foundations already in place and to continue developing inclusive practice for the benefit of all pupils.”

This appointment marks an important step in the Trust’s ongoing work to develop inclusive, high-quality education across all its schools and to ensure that every member of its community is supported to succeed.
